ICC Belfast – formerly Belfast Waterfront – is the city’s only purpose-built international convention centre. A £29.5m extension, unveiled in 2016, significantly increased the venue’s capacity and put Belfast in a position to compete globally for business events.
We have worked with the team at ICC Belfast since 2018 to communicate this potential. Our work is about more than selling rooms and booking space. It’s about delivering for Belfast economically, socially and culturally – today, tomorrow and beyond. Building and maintaining profile and reputation is critical. We support ICC Belfast on its communications strategy, and in doing so have helped to define the vision, mission and collective aims. We manage media relations, corporate and consumer communications, issues management and support with stakeholder engagement in collaboration with Tourism Northern Ireland, Visit Belfast and Belfast City Council on the shared agenda to deliver economic impact. We are committed to ICC Belfast as it continues to deliver millions of pounds in economic impact year on year for the region. It’s a challenge but we are up for it. As a Team we sum it up simply, when we win, everyone wins.
