In 2021 we established a partnership with Mary Peters Trust to support athletes from all walks of life across Northern Ireland and help them fund their journey.
The platform launched post pandemic when the upset caused to training and competition schedules meant many careers were put on hold.
A key part of the activity is storytelling – sharing the athletes’ journeys and celebrating their commitment and achievements, whilst championing the role Mary Peters Trust continues to play in the lives of young sporting talent.
The partnership comes to life through a creative and strategic media relations plan, designed and executed by our PR team, and is amplified via UTV’s evening sports bulletins and across Hughes Insurance’s growing social community.
